The kids absolutely love playing with this – they fight over taking turns playing it.  The velcro on the balls was a bit strong to start with, but over time has softened and is just right.  You do have to make sure that the balls stay dry so that the velcro doesn’t get ruined.

Since giving this to the children, they have both seen an improvement in their batting skills.  They are hitting the ball harder and more accurately.  The arm can be raised and lowered in order to accomodate different heights of children.

There are the occasional problem with this pitching machine out of the box.  However, these are usually fixed by Fisher Price support.  Very occasionally the whole pitching machine does need to be sent back.

Verdict

The Fisher Price Junior Little League Pitching Machine receives 3 out of 5 stars.

It is a great toy for children and will help them improve their hand/eye co-ordination as well as their baseball batting skills.

There is only 3 balls, which is can be an issue.  There are also questions over its reliability, with a reasonable number of customers having issues with the machine.

All in all, it is a great toy for your children and will help them improve their baseball batting skills, and at under $50 is worth a go.
